Jeri Benner helps her homebuyers find the loan that best fits their financial needs. Jeri enjoys working with first time homebuyers, but is experienced in originating all loan types, including FHA, Conventional, VA, USDA, Construction/Perm, 203k and Maryland Mortgage Program loans. She has worked as a mortgage loan officer since 2002, and she continuously educates herself on a variety of loans programs so she can best assist her clients. Because of this, Jeri is able to think outside the box when it comes to finding the right mortgage for her clients.
As an advocate of using technology to enhance the loan application experience, Jeri encourages her clients to apply through FitzGerald Financial’s secure online portal. She can review the application and do preliminary work before she even sits down with her clients, saving them valuable time.
She is licensed to lend in Maryland, Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, West Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and D.C.
As a volunteer for Montgomery County’s Housing and Community Initiatives, Inc., Jeri teaches First-time Home-buyer education classes and helps to match first time home buyers with down payment assistance programs. She also volunteers with the Frederick County Homebuyer Assistance Program to assist limited income, first-time homebuyers with purchasing a home.
Jeri is an active member of the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek, whose members volunteer for local organizations and help to raise over $50,000 for the community each year.
Jeri is happily married with two grown sons. In her free time she enjoys visiting her mountain cabin in Western Maryland, where she drives snowmobiles, goes waterskiing, and enjoys other outdoor activities.
